Information & Eligibility
NJAREF offers annual scholarships to help
students meet the costs of higher education.
Criteria for selection include academic
achievements, financial need, interest in
real estate endeavors, and contributions to
family, school and communities.
Students are eligible for a NJAREF
scholarship if they are a high school senior
who will be attending an undergraduate
four-year institution, currently enrolled in
an undergraduate four-year institution or
pursuing graduate studies in real estate or
allied fields.
Applicants must be a member, or a
relative of a member of NJAR® or a local
state association/board staff who resides
in
New Jersey. Eligibility for the William J.
Carlton, Jr. award is limited to a child of
a member of NJAR® who is a resident of
Mercer, Middlesex or Somerset counties.
Following is an approximate timeline of
the application and selection process:
- December - scholarship applications
available
- April - scholarship applications due
- May - selected applicant interviews
- June - annual scholarship awards ceremony

Application & Deadline
The deadline for the 2012 Scholarship is 5:00 P.M. on TUESDAY, APRIL 3, 2012. Applications must be received at the NJAR® office by 5:00 P.M. on April 3rd. Applications received after this date will not be considered. NO EXCEPTIONS.
